Delivery of your gift voucher
We send all experience packs to you the same day you order in our customised experience pack. There is no cost for post or packing. The delivery of your experience is available to the UK mainland. All vouchers are sent first class post unless recorded delivery is booked and paid for.
E-tickets
Experience Ecosse E-tickets will be sent to the email address on the order, normally within 4 working hours of the receipt of the order. E-tickets are subject to the same terms and conditions, with these additions:
- That no paper based voucher will be issued to the recipient of the voucher,
- That the E-ticket should be printed and taken to the experience as proof of booking.
Validity
All gift vouchers are strictly valid for one year from the date of purchase. Please note that no validity extensions are available out with this time.

Refunds
A full refund is available from Experience Ecosse up to 14 days from the date that you (or the recipient) receives your experience pack. There is a non negotiable £10 admin charge for refunds.
Refunds will be processed to the card used to originally purchase the voucher. Where that card is no longer valid, a cheque will be sent to the purchaser with 14 days of the refund request.
Scope of experience voucher
The experience voucher is only available for the experience detailed. Each voucher sold is for one individual unless otherwise stated.
Recorded delivery
Experience Ecosse can offer next day special delivery for a fixed fee of £5 for up to two vouchers. Recorded delivery vouchers must be booked before 3pm the day before to guarantee delivery the next day. Please note a signature will be required for delivery of recorded delivery vouchers.
Experience descriptions
The descriptions of the experiences we offer are kept up to date. We work hard to keep the information up to date but can not guarantee the accuracy of descriptions. The images used on this website (especially those that are used for more than one location) may not exactly match the vehicles that you will use.
Experience venues
The experiences that we offer range across Scotland. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure a constant high level of service. If, in the unlikely event of a venue not being available, we’ll offer you another venue or another experience of the same value.
Experience duration
Every session length can vary and the times we have on this site are approximate. Usually, there will be other people on the experience with you and there may be some waiting time required.
Open value vouchers
Open vouchers with a cash value are only available to be redeemed at Experience Ecosse within 1 year of the date of purchase, which is marked on the voucher. Open value vouchers have no cash alternative value. The experience that is redeemed against the open value voucher is valid until the expiry date of the original value voucher.
Restrictions
Some of our experiences have restrictions, such as size, weight or level of health. Each experience listing has information about restrictions, however you may be asked questions about this when it comes to booking a date and time for the experience you have booked.
We don’t consider those with disabilities to be any different from others, however for practical reasons some experiences may not be appropriate. For information about disabled access information please contact us.
Safety
By partaking in the experiences promoted and sold by Experience Ecosse you may be placed at some personal risk. You maybe asked to sign a risk waver or personal liability form on the day. Full safety information is provided and safety equipment is provided as required by the experience provider. Please note that Experience Ecosse is not liable for any event or incident that may happen as a result of your participation on the event. We would ask that you read the liability or safety information provided on the day and listen to any safety briefing given.
Weather
Sometimes experiences have to be postponed due to the weather. We would advise that you contact the experience provider (details on the voucher) on the day of your experience to confirm that the experience will not be effected by the weather.
Payment
Experience Ecosse accepts payment for products and services rendered by debit or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Delta, Electron, JCB, Switch, Solo or Maestro) online or over the telephone. Please note that Experience Ecosse can not accept payment by cash or cheque.
Availability
All experiences we offer are on a first come, first served basis. This means that when you arrange your date and time you’ll be able to choose a time best suited to you and availability. Please note that Experience Ecosse can not guarantee availability for a particular date and time unless confirmed in writing by us at or after the time of booking.
Liability
Experience Ecosse is not liable for any injury, death, mental distress or any condition developed as a result of going on and activity promoted on, or purchased through Experience Ecosse. Liability is held and underwritten by the experience providers. Please contact us for details.
Insurances
Experience Ecosse requires all experience suppliers to be fully insured for all activities, equipment and other liabilities for activities and events provided to customers. Please note that Experience Ecosse is not liable for any event marketed or sold and customers are advised to request confirmation of insurance at the time of booking the experience.
For events arranged and delivered directly by Experience Ecosse full event insurance is provided and details can be provided on request.
Cancellation
Experience Ecosse will do what we can in the event of cancellation. We recommend that all customers contact the experience provider on the morning of the event to confirm that the event is going ahead as planned. Cancellations may be made at short notice (due to weather, mechanical or staffing problems) and we will do our up most to contact you in this instance. Experience Ecosse are not able to reimburse you for travel or accommodation expenses if an event is cancelled.
Were the experience is no longer available or the experience provider no longer operates. Experience Ecosse has the following contractual requirements that state that the provider:
a) Shall refund of the full cost price to the customer via Experience Ecosse, or
b) Arrange for the client to be supplied the product by continuing to offer the product to those clients for a reasonable time, or
c) Arrange for the product to be delivered by another company.
Experience Ecosse shall communicate with the customer as soon as possible should this situation arise.

Terms of voucher sale
Experience Ecosse reserves the right to withdraw or suspend the offer of sale of any experience without notice. Once purchased, the holder of the experience pack is entitled to that experience.
Prices
Experience Ecosse updates the prices on our website on a daily basis to ensure the best deal for customers. In the event that a price is incorrect, we endeavour to contact you within 2 working days to highlight the error. Customers will be able to pay the difference or request a full refund, including waving of the refund fee.
Prices quoted on offline promotional material is valid at the date of printing as indicated on the document. The latest prices are available on our website.
VAT
All prices include VAT (where applicable). Experience Ecosse may change the price of an experience before purchase at any time and without prior notice. Experience Ecosse is not registered for VAT.

Data protection
Experience Ecosse complies to the Data Protection act. A full report can be provided on the data we hold about you for a charge of £10. Please contact us to request this.
Disputes
All disputes are governed by and construed in accordance with Scottish Law.
